Ender's Game (エンダーのゲーム Ender no Game) is a manga adaptation of the novel Ender's Game and a tie-in with the movie. The manga closely follows the feature film's aesthetic and plot. Only the first issue has been released currently, ending with Ender being recruited for Battle School by Hyrum Graff.

With the number of years having passed since the first issue, it is very likely that there will be no further installments to the series.

Series Summary[]

The story follows a child prodigy recruited into a series of war games with consequences unbeknownst to him.[1]

Chapter 0 (Oneshot) Summary[]

The manga begins with Hyrum Graff and Anderson watching Ender Wiggin through his Monitor. They decide to remove the monitor to test him and see what he does when he is not being watched. Soon after, Ender is approached by Stilson and other bullies, who begin to beat him up. Several days later, Ender catches Stilson riding his bike around a corner and hits him with a pole. He begins to beat Stilson, explaining that he has to or everybody will bully Ender.

Upon returning home, Graff is there. He tells Ender that he killed Stilson, but praises him for it. His parents and siblings are distraught, but Graff continues congratulating Ender. Ender speaks up saying that he did not want to do it. After this, Graff invites Ender to Battle School. Ender's parents protest, but Graff asks Ender to speak with him alone. He asks Ender to be the hero to save humanity, but Ender knows he has no choice. He says goodbye to his family and leaves to Battle School.
