Star-Looker, more commonly known as Shouter, was a Pequenino Wife on the planet of Lusitania.[1] She was first introduced in Speaker for the Dead.

Star-Looker's voice was described as loud enough to shake the trees in the forest, hence the nickname of Shouter. She appeared to be the “head” Wife, and as all Wives, she was sterile. She agreed to Andrew Wiggin's very demanding requirements, including letting the Males’ language into the birthing area (since the Wives’ language was very restrictive and many concepts could not be verbalized). Star-Looker, along with Andrew Wiggin, were the ones to draft the treaty between Humans, Pequeninos and Formics.[1]
